Dr. Imkongliba Memorial District Hospital (IMDH) in Mokokchung, Nagaland in North-Eastern India struggled with a reliance on manual processes. This led to issues like inconsistent record-keeping, error-prone data entry, time-consuming workflows, and difficulties in tracking patient progress and analyzing healthcare trends. Tattva and the Nagaland State Government's Department of Health and Family Welfare (DoHFW) partnered to implement Bahmni at IMDH as part of The World Bank-supported Nagaland Health Project. Bahmni in Nagaland has already captured 350,000 unique patients of which over 50,000 are from Mokokchung alone. Bahmni's open-source nature allowed Tattva to deeply customize the system to align with the specific workflows and requirements of IMDH and other Nagaland hospitals, incorporating continuous feedback from the healthcare teams on the ground. The hospital now benefits from Streamlined Patient Registration, Improved Efficiency, Transparency & Accountability and Data-Driven Decision-Making.

Tattva's work with DoHFW is driving the implementation of crucial modules across Nagaland's district hospitals with integrations to India's Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) shared health record network in progress right now.

The ongoing collaboration aims to fully harness Bahmni's capabilities for a comprehensive, patient-centered digital health ecosystem statewide with six more district hospitals expected to start using Bahmni.

NON PROFIT HOSPITAL

The Lake Clinic Cambodia

By Mekom Solutions in 2017

The Lake Clinic, is the floating primary care center on Tonle Sap Lake in Cambodia. The Lake Clinic Cambodia (TLC) has four floating clinics and each clinic serves two to three villages. TLC provides medical services and medications. Earlier patient medical records were paper based now TLC has digitised them by implementing Bahmni. This has helped medical teams to find the patient's record quickly via smartphone or computer. Bahmni EMR is very convenient in patient care and saves almost five to ten minutes for every patient.
